Hello
Thank you to all who were able to attend Saturday’s meeting / Bowling party. I had fun, I hope you did. We had a good turn out for the event. We were sorry some of our new members were unable to attend. I
hope next time we meet they will be able to come. We had 11 bowlers.
At the Pizza Ranch afterward we had a short meeting to go over a few items from the Horse show committee meeting and the leaders meeting from
last week.

1. The set up for the Horse show is going to run really close to last year. (Hopefully with out the rain)
2. The Horse committee asked the leaders for a electronic timer to use for the show. (They are putting it into the 2009 budget)
3. Most clubs want to bring their horses the day they work the lunch stand, so that has not been set yet.(We will set that schedule at the next leaders meeting, I want our club on Tuesday morning, If Lennox has
school starting Wed of the fair we will not have anyone to serve)
4. The leaders are adding to the show ring roof so the setting will be under a roof to the north.
5. The leaders are buying new fencing for the show ring to make it safer.
6. The leaders are buying new cages for the Poultry and Rabbits.
7. The leaders are buying new Pens for the Row of Champions. (They have been using some from Minnehaha)
8. The leaders are buying new speakers for the Expo building.
9. There was some discussion on how to encourage the 4H members to be involved in public speaking.
10. The leaders researching the purchase of new equipment for the dog show.

Our next meeting will be 2/21/09 1:00 at our house. (Unless someone else wants to host the meeting)
